An original collection. A new chapter.
A curiosity worth passing on.
Engology was created to help young people discover the challenging, exciting, and rewarding possibilities of engineering.
The original mission
Engology was created for teenagers, parents, journalists, and the general public: a place to discover what a career in engineering might hold.
This revival is being carried forward by the founder’s grandchild. It honours the original writing and collection while making it easier to read, explore, and return to.

This revival brings the collection to a new generation, keeping the original voice alongside a clearer way to explore it.
Writing marked “original text” preserves the source wording. “Editorial overview” identifies a new introduction to an older piece. Dated editorial notes are separate from the original and offer context where it is needed.
Third-party writing keeps its original credits. An archive capture date tells us when a website was saved, not when an article or interview was written.
