Electrical Engineering

As indicated by the name, electrical engineering is the field of engineering concerned with electricity and electronics. In 2021, the median pay for an electrical engineer was $101,780. However, the job market is growing at a slower rate than average. With that being said, electrical engineers get paid significantly higher than many other professions which also deal with electricity. In 2021, the median pay for an electrician was $60,040 and the median pay for electrical and electronic engineering technologists and technicians, who aid electrical engineers, was $63,640.
