Introduction

I am a full time Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Neutral specializing in arbitrations and mediations. I have facilitated the negotiation and resolution of hundreds of disputes/controversies and have been the sole arbitrator, party-appointed arbitrator and lead arbitrator on three-member arbitration panels. I have the unique ability to provide creative facilitative problem-solver skills developed through the years combined with practical, real world business/consumer experience with a focus on the parties as customers.

I am a frequent speaker before educational, professional, and trade organizations around the country and internationally on a variety of substantive topics as well as ADR. Professional Experience

As a licensed attorney (Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rating), I commenced my legal career as a securities counsel (enforcement and qualifications) with the California Department of Corporations. Subsequently, I have held major executive and legal positions with Hughes Aircraft Company and Lear Astronics. Earlier, I was an Engineer with Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in Engineering (1966), a Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law (1971), and an Advanced Management Program Certificate from USC (1993).
